The brand has stopped production on these designs though the retailers have not yet been asked to send them back, so most stores are still selling through their inventory. Pandora has been aggressively retiring their beads since theyve been releasing such large collections each season and this time is no different. This list is for North America but likely similar for the other markets as well.
Its interesting all the single wrap leather bracelets are being discontinued except the black one and I wonder how this will affect their free leather promotions that are offered a couple times a year. Im sad to see so many silver charms being retired including all the block letters, A through Z, and the cute animals. The bulk of the list involves dangles, although given how many dangles the company has put out, it makes sense.
As expected the limited edition pieces are being retired including the Vintage Heart, Lavender Morning Butterfly, Pandora Club 2014 charm, Circle of Love bangle, the colored multi-strand cords, and the discontinued Fascinating Aventurescent. A couple of the Pandora Rose charms are also on the chopping block, perhaps ones that have not sold or worn well. Some of these beads have only been out for a short time so its surprising that theyre on the list, like Moss, British Taxi, Lavender Pav Lights, Greetings from London, and the Faceted Beauty dangles.
Im sure most of these designs will be discounted in various forms, including Boxing Day sales for the UK and Australia, and hopefully on Rue La La and Achica too. How do you feel about this list? Anything youve been waiting to get?
Wow, one of my bracelet has a lot of these charms. I am sad, the scinating aventurescent is not going to be available at all. Rue la la does not have all the retired charms. I guess just saying good bye to some is what needs to be done. Too bad

I absolutely need to get that polar bear. I have always wanted it but I always got distracted by other beads lol Well now I will march right in there and snatch it up!
Its a really cute bead in person, and I find it to be very versatile. I sometimes wear it on a bracelet. But it also looks just darling on a chain as a pendant. Its a really good in-between size. Not too big for a bracelet, and not too tiny as a pendant. Highly recommend that one.
I see many heart-themed pieces being retired on this round! The only one I expected was the limited edition one; not the gold and rose gold heart charms, muranos, clips, and even the older heart dangles. I guess we should expect more and more hearts in the following Valentine releases. I will also have to begin a iry tale bracelet soon. Perhaps we should also expect newer, more Disney oriented iry tale designs? I hope they dont have much bling though. And why the turtle?
Theyve got tons of hearts so its no great loss, lol. I cant wait for more Disney charms!
I thought they had only just brought back the A-z charms out of retirement? getting confused cant believe the gold crown is going and the gold heart with diamond do you think we will get any new gold charms anytime soon ? I will be In a rush to get a few of these charms before they go
Pandora has plans to retire all gold charms over $400. If you notice, all recently released gold is below that price point!
i dont like that idea i love the solid ones so i suppose we will be stuck with the cage hollow ones with no personlaity

Thats a lot of classic looking silver beads gone, I hope they will be replacing them with more silver beads, and not additional Cz, pave and bling bling beads
Yeah, theyve been retiring a lot of all silver charmstheyre probably not cost effective for them.
Some of those have been discontinued a while in the UK, such as polar bear and panda. We havent had them for ages in our store. The single leathers have also almost completely sold out, customers are not too impressed! I only just managed to get a lavender string after we were told they were being discontinued. So many popular charms are going, although the list we have seems slightly different to the US one. I hope more silver and two tone come out next year as the blingy pave route Pandora are taking at the moment hasnt been entirely to my taste unfortunately! There are a few charms I need to pick up before they go the beach ball and lighthouse are on the discontinued list here and I need them for the nautical themed bangle I want to start!
How interesting! Sometimes the retirements are global and sometimes theyre regional specific.
Just wondered if the dragonfly charm (790898) and plain silver with gold flower clip (790140) were in the UK Boxing Day sale? Ive wanted the dragonfly charm for ages and just need this one to complete my bracelet.
Im not sure, theres a lot of items on the list as it shows everything that has been discontinued from previous collections. As we currently dont have those in stock I wasnt looking for them on it, sorry :-/
No worries, thanks for your reply. I notice Pandora estore and Argento havent got any of the dragonfly charms left but both have the two tone clip. Our local store has got a few of the dragonfly charms so will wait until Boxing day and hope its in the sale. I work in retail so no chance of me going to get it but my brother has offered to go and get me one bless him.
Not terribly surprised by some of them, as they were already on the last Rue La La sale or two red oval lights, polar bear, lavender morning butterfly are a few that I already got that way. Im disappointed by the retirement of a lot of the destination dangles. Id hoped to be able to get them when I eventually visit those places, and I have zero interest in the unforgettable moments destination dangles. The only thing I might feel compelled to try to get ASAP is the rose heart, although since I havent had a chance to start a rose bracelet I guess if I miss it its not such a big deal
I know, its sad that theyre retiring the destination dangles :(. I guess you can pre-get them in anticipation of visiting those places, haha.
Wow, surprised to see so many bracelets! Is that ALL the multi strand cord bracelets and ALL the single leather bracelets?? The double navy bracelet that was just released too?
The black single leather and the black multi-cord are both staying. The double navy is safe. The only colors going away completely are red, gray, and silver.
I am really pleased to see this list because there is quite a few on there that I wanted to buy this year but wasnt prepared to pay the full price for. The maximum I will spend on a Pandora charm is $50,so now I can buy: 2014 pandora club charm, the birdcage charm, the first two pink enamel charms and the charm with the bright pink circles. Also,I dont normally care for dangles but I think I may buy a few of the travel dangles (ie Big Ben, Opera House and Koalas) to put aside for my daughter. Just hope they dont go on sale while I am overseas!
Pandora club charm was discontinued several months ago, in the summer, and is no longer sold in Pandora stores. It was in the last Rue La La sale though, so keep an eye out for those!
Im right now in Auckland, NZ. And the Club charm is still available. I guess it wasnt really succesfull here.

That will be a lot of plain silver charms retiring. What Ive noticed is that Pandora re-releases them in similar, perfected designs, usually with CZ added to them. I doubt all of them will come back though. Ive been avoiding CZ on my beginners bracelet, but just got two and now Im addicted! Bring them on, Pandora!

I see my future Pandora spending decreasing dramatically given the look of the upcoming collections. I plan to buy the few bead here I do not currently own, only about five plus one clip. Then Ill be focusing on some of the ll/winter ones I really liked. After that I think Ill probably only be buying a couple beads per launch. The rest will be Troll.

I was sad to see the cozy cat charm go, and my store sold out quickly during the most recent free charm promo. I hope more cat charms are on the way!! I Will be picking up the lavender string bracelet though glad my store manager gave me the heads up too!! Do rings ever retire too? I would assume so, but Ive never seen any lists. I just got the star trail ring and am in love Im impressed with the workmanship and quality of the silver! Its my first ring from pandora!

Yes, all the jewelry gets retired. Most times I only post about the charms because its a pain in the butt to do all the collages and ns are generally interested in only the charms.
I would recommend soap and water.

Hi Leeann, do you know what date these are retired? Does 2015 retirement mean that as of 1/1/2015 these items arent available? If i remember correctly you have said in the past that it is sort of up to each store whether they sell their stock on hand or send it back. Im shopping at a concept store rather than a shop in shop. I didnt know if all concept stores maybe had a set policy? Thanks!
Im sad to see that the leathers are pretty much being retired. I wonder if there will still be a leather bracelet promo? Im just starting a bracelet next week, but would love a leather one (in champagne) as well to have a few rose gold charms as I build my silver bracelet, so I dont go overboard, and then switch over when I am ready. Yes, the leathers have shown up on Rue La La. I havent heard of a leather promo for this year, but theres still a couple left.

Have noticed Pandora has gone to town on pave zirconia, something Ive always loathed (vulgar and cheap-looking). Do you think the brand is looking towards a new market? Even gorgeous Murano beads are going all cetedyuck! I sincerely hope all this bling ils spectacularly, and P goes back to its older style.
